Batak Pro is a new challenging addition to our extensive range of equipment.

Batak is a fast eye to hand co-ordination. LED score board amd digital voice intstructions. The small space requirements make the Batak Pro ideal for corporate sales incentives, exhibitions, parties, excutive challenges and perfect for fund raising events.

The most popular games are

  • Senior Accumulator: This game last 1 minute, as soon as the target is struck the next target lights up. A score of 70 to 80 is achievable (world record is 114 hits held be F1 driver Jensen Button)
  • 50 Timed Targets: 50 timed targets are illuminated at randon, Targets remain on for 1 second, if you strike the wrong target the game speeds up.
  • 50 Target Race: Strike 50 targets at randon as quickly as possible. Time allowed 100 seconds before clock runs out. (Timer records times to a tenth of a second, therefore very unlikely for 2 people to record the same score, therefore createing a clear winner)
  • Junior Accumulator: Same as Senior game except top 2 lights are not in play, therefore allowing younger children to play.

Also can be used to teach basic maths Batak Pro does simply additions and 2 to 9 times Tables a great learning tool.

An invisible Infra Red 'Strike Back Beam' is located at midriff level and is used to make a 'strike' at a Player during the Workout routine...(i.e. the player may be given one second to avoid the beam or 5 points will be deducted etc.)

These two sprint mats may be positioned anywhere within, for example, a 10 metre radius of BATAK Pro for use in a large Gymnasium complex or Training Hall.

BATAK Pro programs cater for ALL levels of skill and is suitable for people of all ages, providing each user with their own 'personal best'. Achievable goals can be set in Club type situations.

Other uses - apart from just having fun - or alongside having fun!

Custom BATAK Pro programmes can be created for training, warm-up sessions, therapeutics, aerobics and weight loss purposes.

Re-habilitation training requiring slow repetitive 'target therapy' is easily programmed into the machine via a Laptop Computer and our optional PC software.

Mathematical and Mind Games can be catered for.

Players who are Partly Paraplegic or disadvantaged in other ways may be catered for. Even Players who are blind or short sighted can use BATAK Pro... How? The machine can call out the numbers for each illuminated target...spatial awareness is often heightened in people with a loss of sight.

The BATAK Story

The original BATAK can be seen here being played at the National Sports Centre, Bisham Abbey.

The word BATAK stems from the two words 'BAT' and 'ATTACK'. The first generation BATAK machines, as seen above, had 48 target lights and were played with a special foam tipped racquet. These early machines were used in National Sports Centres and at the Wimbledon U.K. tennis tournament proving enormously popular. Smaller versions were used in promotional work and Mercedes Benz previously used one of these in their Association of Tennis Professionals (A.T.P.) worldwide tennis sponsorship tour.

BATAK as seen on T.V. BATAK has featured on the ITV hit series 'BODYHEAT' which set out to find the fittest young couple in the U.K.

At the end of each show the exhausted challengers faced the BATAK wall which was called on to test their reaction times, stamina levels and hand eye co-ordination ability.

The series proved so popular that it ran for 3 years in succession.

BATAK has also appeared on numerous other television programmes throughout the world and is fast becoming recognised in the health and fitness industry.

In fact, there is now an official BATAK World Record of a staggering 114 hits, set by Jensen Button, in only 60 seconds!
